University of British Columbia Dietetics Graduate
Master’s in Counselling Psychology
Elaine is a Registered Dietitian with a decade of experience providing evidence-based nutrition guidance tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. Her areas of expertise include preventive health, weight management, diabetes, cholesterol management, digestive health, pregnancy nutrition, and sports nutrition. She also supports clients navigating emotional eating, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD.

Elaine believes that sustainable change goes beyond the science of food. Food is deeply connected to emotions, habits, culture, and identity, and lasting progress begins with understanding each person’s unique story. This perspective inspired her to deepen her practice by completing a master’s degree in counselling psychology.

By blending nutrition science with therapeutic approaches such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Elaine supports clients in making meaningful behavioural changes, healing their relationship with food, and building a more peaceful, joyful way of eating.

Elaine is a YouTuber, nutrition educator & speaker featured by TEDx West Vancouver 2026, CBC, OMNI TV, BC Living, Fairchild Radio, and Dietitians of Canada. Through her YouTube channel and media work, she makes complex nutrition science practical, clear, and actionable.

Healing Through Nutrition

Nourishing your body is one of the most meaningful acts of self-care. A healthy diet and balanced lifestyle can help prevent and manage many health concerns, but true healing goes beyond a meal plan. Together, we explore the root causes of your challenges and create personalized, sustainable solutions that support your whole well-being. Balanced nutrition can improve energy, reduce the long-term risk of chronic disease, stabilize blood sugar, support digestion, elevate mood, and strengthen your immune system — while still feeling joyful, satisfying, and enjoyable.

Nutrition Counselling Is Experiential
Do you notice that when life feels busy, stressful, or overwhelming, your food intake, meal prep routines, and cravings begin to change? Nutrition counselling is not just about meal plans or information — it is an experiential journey. In each session, we walk through the process together, helping you understand what influences your food choices, eating patterns, and daily life. By tuning into both conscious choices and unconscious patterns, we create space for meaningful, lasting change.
Let’s begin your journey toward vibrant, lasting health together.
